Day by Day
ARRIVE DELHI – get amazed by diversity, culture, incredibility
Meet and greet on your arrival in Delhi. You will be received by an airport staff at the aerobridge. He will then assist you through the immigration and baggage. You will then be greeted by our company representative, as you walk out of the airport. He will accompany you to the car and transfer to your hotel close to the airport.
Rest of the day at leisure at the hotel.

DELHI / JABALPUR / KANHA – to largest tiger reserve
To India’s largest Tiger reserve – Kanha
After an early breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the domestic airport to board flight for Jabalpur.
Arrive at Jabalpur and drive about 4 hrs to Kanha National Park.
Kanha National Park is one of Asia’s premier wildlife park. In 1973, it was included among the first park under Project Tiger. The Park’s spectacular sal and bamboo forests, interspersed with grasslands, ravines and hills, offer unparalleled opportunities to photograph Indian wildlife. This forest was once a popular hunting spot of viceroy of India. Now, it’s the last refuge of the rare hard ground Swamp Deer or Barasinga, the twelve horned deer.

After a leisurely morning at the lodge, today you will drive around 5 hours to Bandhavgarh National Park.
Bandhavgarh is a relatively small park 448 Square kilometres but is a vital stop for serious tiger safari. As it has the highest density of tigers nearly one for every 5 square kilometre in the area open to tourism. This forest has an ancient history, which is entwined with that of the kings of the Rewa dynasty. Steeped in legend, these forests gave the world the progenitors of all the white tigers alive today.

Early morning boat ride on the pristine Ken River after breakfast drive 30 minutes to the city for guided tour the temples.
The Temples at Khajuraho were built under later Chandela kings between 950 and 1050 AD in a truly inspired burst of creativity. Of the original 85 temples, the 25 surviving are among the finest in India. They are built mostly of sandstone in shades ranging from pink through buff to pale yellow although granite was used in a few. Lost among forest for centuries they were accidentally discovered by a British army engineer in 1838.
Later drive to Jhansi Railway Station (180 Kms, 3-4 hours) to board day train to Agra.

Early morning private guided tour to experience the surreal effects caused by the reflections of the sun rising from behind the white marble clad Taj Mahal. Built from white marble, it is the mausoleum of Empress Mumtaz Mahal, who died after giving birth to her 14th child (Princess Gauhar Begum). Built over a period of 22 years and involving thousands of artisans from across the world, this magnificent building is considered to be the greatest monument to eternal love, homage to her beauty and life.
Note: Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays.
Return to the hotel for breakfast after which guided tour of the city including Red Fort.
Late afternoon drive to Delhi International airport (210 kms, 4 hours) to board onwards flight.

Therefore, we would request you please send us the following information at the earliest in order to enable us to book game drives or a scanned copy of the relevant pages of the passports.
Wednesdays – Bandhavgarh and Kanha National parks are closed for afternoon safari on Wednesdays. We can arrange alternate activities like a village visit, nature walks, cycling, visit a weekly tribal market in place of a safari on Wednesday afternoon.
July to September – National parks closed for rainy reasons.
