Detailed Itinerary

Day by Day

ARRIVE DELHI – Assortment of culture and heritage.

Meet and greet on your arrival in Delhi.
You will be received by an airport staff at the aerobridge.
He will then assist you through the immigration and baggage.
You will then be greeted by our company representative, as you walk out of the airport.
He will accompany you to the car and transfer to your hotel close to the airport.
Rest of the day at leisure at the hotel.

DELHI / JABALPUR / BANDHAVGARH – to India’s top tigers reserves

After an early breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the domestic airport to board flight for Jabalpur.
Arrive at Jabalpur and drive about 4 hrs to Bandhavgarh National Park.
Bandhavgarh is a relatively small park 448 Square kilometres but is a vital stop for serious tiger safari. As it has the highest density of tigers nearly one for every 5 square kilometre in the area open to tourism. This forest has an ancient history, which is entwined with that of the kings of the Rewa dynasty. Steeped in legend, these forests gave the world the progenitors of all the white tigers alive today.

BANDHAVGARH –Safari begins

Early morning assemble for tea / coffee and then set off for a game drive by open top 4WD exclusive vehicle accompanied by English speaking lodge naturalist who sometimes is also the driver besides the local park guide.

BANDHAVGARH / KANHA – to biggest tiger reserve in Central India

Today you will drive about 5 hours to Kanha National Park.
Arrive at Kanha and check into your lodge
Kanha National Park is one of Asia’s premier wildlife park. In 1973, it was included among the first park under Project Tiger. The Park’s spectacular sal and bamboo forests, interspersed with grasslands, ravines and hills, offer unparalleled opportunities to photograph Indian wildlife. This forest was once a popular hunting spot of viceroy of India. Now, it’s the last refuge of the rare hard ground Swamp Deer or Barasinga, the twelve horned deer.

KANHA – On safari

KANHA / PENCH – to the Jungle that inspired Kipling

Morning after breakfast at lodge drive 3.5 hrs to Pench National park. It is picturesque drive partly through corridor forest that connects Kanha to Pench.
Kanha-Pench corridor is one of the most important forest corridors in India and facilitates tiger dispersal between Kanha and Pench Tiger Reserves. It covers an area of 16,000 sq km.
Arrive at you lodge by lunch time. Afternoon you will have some time for a siesta in your tree house and then later go for nature walk accompanied by the lodge naturalist.

PENCH – Explore the Forests of Seoni

Early morning assemble for tea / coffee and then set off for a game drive by open top 4WD exclusive vehicle accompanied by English speaking lodge naturalist who sometimes is also the driver besides the local park guide.

PENCH / TADOBA – upcoming, exciting tiger reserve

Spend the morning at leisure at the lodge
Today afternoon you will drive about 4.5 hours to Tadoba National Park
The Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve has been unnoticed by tourism till recently. It has a forest dominated by teak forest and bamboo; it’s a rugged landscape comprising cliffs, caves, marshes, perennial lakes and boulder strewn streambeds that cater to a host of biodiversity. It is abounding with wildlife and animals like the Tiger, Leopard, Sloth Bear, Hyena, Jackal, Wild Dog, Blue Bull and Sambar inhabit the reserve.

TADOBA – Imbibe rich biodiversity

TADOBA / NAGPUR / DELHI / DEPARTURE – End of tiger safari

After breakfast, you will be drive about 3 hours to Nagpur airport and board flight for Delhi.
Arrive at Delhi airport and transfer to a hotel close to the international terminal.
Day use room will be booked and available to you until your departure later in the evening / night.
Later transfer to the international airport to board flight for onward destination.

Therefore, we would request you please send us the following information at the earliest in order to enable us to book game drives or a scanned copy of the relevant pages of the passports.

    • Wednesdays – Bandhavgarh and Kanha National parks are closed for afternoon safari on Wednesdays. We can arrange alternate activities like a village visit, nature walks, cycling, visit a weekly tribal market in place of a safari on Wednesday afternoon.

      July to September – National parks closed for rainy reasons.
